Charitable Enterprises Visit Campus to Donate and Support Education in Celebration of Children’s Day

On the morning of May 31, Hao Yuhong, Chairwoman of Hubei Marswell Food Co., Ltd., a caring enterprise, Gao Huoxing, General Manager, and seven other representatives of the company visited the Central School of Eping Township to carry out a donation and education assistance activity as well as a celebration for “June 1”.

During this event, the Hubei Marswell Charity Assistance Team donated 262 sets of school uniforms, 30 sets of staff uniforms, one set of air-source heat pump water heating equipment for student dormitories and kitchens, and two washing machines for student dormitories to all 131 students in the school. The students expressed their deepest gratitude to the benefactors in their own unique way—by presenting red scarves to them.

In his address, General Manager Gao Huoxing stated that in 2020, a once-in-a-century COVID-19 pandemic swept across the globe, bringing all charitable activities to a temporary halt. Yet the heartfelt concern and care of all well-wishers for Eping Township never wavered. After a two-year hiatus, we are finally able to resume our charitable efforts. On this Children’s Day, we wish all children a happy holiday! We also hope that students will set clear aspirations, uphold and carry forward the fine traditional virtues of the Chinese nation—showing filial piety toward elders, fostering unity and mutual assistance, studying diligently, striving for continuous improvement, and becoming seekers of knowledge and innovators, so that they may dedicate themselves to the rejuvenation of China.

In their speeches, the leaders of the County Education Bureau and the Party Committee and Government of Eping Township expressed their sincerest gratitude and warmest welcome to the Marswell Caring Team for repeatedly traveling thousands of miles to Eping Central School to carry out charitable education assistance activities. Entrepreneurs from Marswell and other caring enterprises are committed to education and deeply care about mountainous areas, selflessly devoting their love and support to children in these regions and paying close attention to the future of the nation and the ethnic group. These charitable donations not only provide material assistance to children in mountainous areas but also offer them tremendous spiritual encouragement. It is hoped that the students who have been commended will take role models as examples, set lofty aspirations and noble beliefs, and in the future make their hometowns more beautiful and well-kept and build the motherland into an even more glorious and prosperous country.

Acts of kindness converge to warm the heart. Upon receiving their holiday gifts and heartfelt wishes, the children could hardly contain their joy and gratitude. They pledged to study diligently, master the knowledge in their textbooks, hone their skills, and live up to the expectations and care of society—striving not only to become well-rounded individuals but also to develop into talented professionals. They are determined to grow into outstanding successors who will contribute to the building of our country and serve as pillars in realizing the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation.

During the event, Gao Marswell, the initiator of the Marswell Charity Foundation, held a donation handover ceremony with the school authorities; the attending leaders read out the commendation documents for “Good Youth in the New Era,” “Outstanding Young Pioneers,” and “Most Filial Children,” and then presented awards to the winning students. All attendees jointly watched a gala performance celebrating International Children’s Day.
It is reported that on June 20, 2018, the caring enterprise Hubei JiLi Food Co., Ltd. visited Zhuxi County to carry out the “Marswell ‘Star’ Ball of Love” donation and education assistance activity, donating more than RMB 1,600 in cash and goods to each of the 144 impoverished students at the Eping Township Central School, as well as 7 computers worth a total of RMB 250,000 to Futai Primary School in Jiangjiayan Town. The company also organized the “Marswell Dreams Come True: A Beijing Trip for Young People in Western Hubei” event, which received a positive social response. On September 25, 2019, the Marswell Caring Entrepreneurs Education Assistance Team visited Zhuxi once again, bringing 133 students at the school one cotton quilt, two sets of school uniforms, and other daily necessities, with a total donation value of about RMB 120,000. Due to the impact of the pandemic, the caring enterprise did not return to Zhuxi for two years. However, it has now resumed its “Caring Education Assistance, Warming the Campus” initiative at the Eping Township Central School in Zhuxi County, and stated that it will continue to carry out donation and education assistance activities in the future, dedicating its love, spreading warmth, giving back to society, and consistently supporting Zhuxi’s education sector and the healthy growth of left-behind children.
