On May 31, under the warm sunshine and amidst the blooming flowers, the Central School of Eping Township held a literary and art performance to celebrate the “June 1” Children’s Day. Leaders and guests from the County Education Bureau, the Township Party Committee and Government, the Wuhan Marswell Charity Team, and other organizations attended the event.

The celebration kicked off with a solemn flag-raising ceremony. Gao Marswell, General Manager and founder of the Marswell Charity Foundation, held a handover ceremony for donated materials with school officials. The Zhuxi County Education Bureau and the People’s Government of Eping Township then read out commendation documents for “Outstanding Young People of the New Era” and “Outstanding Young Pioneers” who have excelled in both character and academics throughout the school year, followed by a grand awards ceremony.

This “June 1” celebration was themed “Red Scarves Look to the Party, Passing on the Torch to Build Dreams.” Through a variety of performances—including dance, recitation, instrumental music, and choral singing—and in conjunction with the current theme of commemorating the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the event wholeheartedly celebrated children’s gratitude for the Party and their love of the motherland, showcased the healthy and joyful lives of young students, and expressed their lofty aspirations to carry forward the red spirit. With boundless enthusiasm, spirited posture, and a fresh new look, the students propelled the performance to one thrilling climax after another, while cheers and applause resounded throughout the venue.

This celebratory event brought together the wisdom and hard work of the entire school community, fully showcasing the spirit of unity, collaboration, and healthy optimism that characterizes our faculty and students, and ensuring that the children enjoyed a joyful and happy holiday!
