Marswell | Caring Education Warms Students in Two Places

On May 30–31, 2021, Gao Huoxing, General Manager of Hubei JiLi Food Co., Ltd., led a charity team on a round-trip drive of 1,100 kilometers to the Central School in Eping Township, Zhuxi County, Shiyan City, to deliver Children’s Day gifts to the children.
In the autumn of 2019, the General Manager of Gao Huoxing personally arranged for two sets of autumn school uniforms, a set of bedding, and cotton quilts and pillows for the 133 students at the Eping Township Central School, ensuring that the children would start the new semester with a fresh new look.
During this trip to Zhuxi, the Marswell Scholarship Fund donated two sets of summer uniforms to the children and provided uniform work clothes for the teachers. In addition, the fund provided the school with brand-new washing machines, air-source water heaters, and other supplies worth a total of RMB 140,000. Air-source water heaters are currently one of the safest and most energy-efficient water supply systems, ensuring that the school has an adequate supply of hot water around the clock.
On May 31, the charity education team led by General Manager Gao Marswell also attended the literary and art performance celebrating International Children’s Day held at the Central School of Eping Township. The celebration kicked off with a solemn flag-raising ceremony. General Manager Gao Marswell, the initiator of the “Marswell” Education Assistance Foundation, held a handover ceremony for donated materials with the school authorities. In addition, “Good Youth of the New Era” and “Outstanding Young Pioneers” who excelled in both character and academics over the past school year were commended.
Meanwhile, Gao Aimin, Secretary-General of the Marswell Scholarship Fund team, drove to Dасуншу Central Primary School in Changleping Town, Wufeng County, to present new school uniforms and work clothes to the students and teachers there; donated four fully automatic washing machines to the boarding students; and provided basketballs, table tennis sets, basketball hoops, and other items, totaling 60,000 yuan worth of supplies. In addition, General Manager Gao Mars stated that in the later stage, part of the charitable donations would also be used to improve the children’s daily meals and enhance their quality of life at school.
Children from the two schools were overjoyed to receive their brand-new uniforms, clutching them tightly as if they could never part with them. Gazing at the school’s state-of-the-art facilities, their faces beamed with happiness, and they all vowed to study hard and give back to society. They also expressed heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Gao Huoxing, the general manager; to the generous donors; and to the teachers who have tirelessly devoted themselves to their healthy growth.

The “Marswell” Scholarship Fund was initiated in December 2018 by Gao Marswell, General Manager of Hubei JiLi Food Co., Ltd., and officially established in June 2019 through the Hubei Project Hope Youth Foundation. The fund is dedicated to providing targeted assistance to underprivileged children in mountainous areas, improving their learning environment and living conditions. The slogan of the scholarship fund is: “By smoking one less pack of good cigarettes, drinking one less bottle of fine wine, or skipping one lavish meal, you can help children in mountainous areas enjoy a better life.”
