In 2000, they began trial production of popcorn in a temporary factory building. In 2003, Hubei JiLi Food Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “JiLi Food”) was officially established in Dongxihu. Over the past two decades and more, the company has devoted itself to developing its own brand of popcorn, conducting independent R&D across the entire value chain—from corn raw materials and microwave paper bags to production equipment and sales display cabinets—thereby breaking foreign monopolies, mastering core technologies, and writing a success story of “Made in China” innovation in the leisure food industry.
