Marswell Visits Wufeng Again to Extend Care and Condolences on Children’s Day

Tailor-made school uniforms, delicious popcorn, and exquisite water bottles—these were the special holiday gifts presented by the Hubei Hope Project Marswell Scholarship Fund to the students of Shengziping Primary School. On Children’s Day 2023, the children of Wufeng Tujia Autonomous County were overjoyed. Gao Marswell, Chairman of the Hubei Hope Project Marswell Scholarship Fund and General Manager of Hubei JiLi Food Co., Ltd., along with Gao Aimin, Secretary-General of the Wuhan-Yichang Chamber of Commerce, and a delegation of seven people, visited Shengziping Primary School in Renheping Town, Wufeng, to carry out a Children’s Day care activity. They donated charitable supplies worth RMB 120,000 to the school, demonstrating their heartfelt concern and care for the students. This marks the official launch of the Marswell initiative “A New Five-Year Plan to Help Another Thousand Students.”
Qin Yecheng, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Wufeng Tujia Autonomous County Committee and County Mayor, along with Vice Mayors Lin Gang and Qin Aifen, held a symposium with Gao Huoxing. Qin Yecheng expressed his gratitude to Gao Huoxing for leading a delegation of entrepreneurs to Wufeng to carry out charitable education assistance, and extended a warm welcome to the business leaders on their visit to Wufeng for investment exploration. Prior to the donation ceremony, Gao Huoxing and his delegation toured the Wufeng Ethnic Industrial Park, the China Supply and Marketing Wufeng Commerce and Logistics Park, the Wufeng Youth Overseas Friendship and Networking Base, and the Centennial Guan Village Base for the Propagation of Forest Medicinal Plants and Honey (Gallnuts).
Gao Marswell, Chairman of the Hubei Project Hope Marswell Scholarship Foundation and General Manager of Hubei JiLi Food Co., Ltd., donated school uniforms to Shengziping Primary School. Gao Marswell stated that they will customize two sets of summer uniforms and two sets of autumn uniforms for each student at Shengziping Primary School in Wufeng County and the Central School in Eping Township, Zhuxi County, as well as one suit for each teacher.
“Gathering the light of Marswell to build the dreams of rural children” and “Caring about rural education and students of Shengzi Primary School” — Guan Hongfu, principal of Shengziping Primary School, presented commemorative banners to the Hubei Project Hope Marswell Scholarship Fund and the Wuhan-Yichang Chamber of Commerce, respectively.
Gao Marswell, Chairman of the Hubei Marswell Scholarship Fund of the Hubei Project Hope and General Manager of Hubei JiLi Food Co., Ltd., delivered a speech. He extended his best wishes to the children on International Children’s Day, June 1st, introduced the development history of JiLi Food and the Marswell Scholarship Fund, and expressed his commitment to continuously caring for education in mountainous areas.
Principal Guan Hongfu of Shengziping Primary School expressed his gratitude to the Marswell Scholarship Fund and the Wuhan-Yichang Chamber of Commerce. He outlined the school’s century-long development and highlighted its recent county-wide top scorers.
Comrade Qin Aifen, Deputy County Mayor of Wufeng Tujia Autonomous County People’s Government, announced the official start of the “June 1” celebration gala. Gao Marswell, founder of Hubei JiLi Food Co., Ltd., led a delegation from the Hubei Project Hope JiLi Marswell Scholarship Foundation to attend the “June 1” gala, celebrating the holiday with the children, filling the campus with laughter and joy.
Finally, the delegation of caring entrepreneurs visited the cafeteria, dormitories, and the overall campus environment of Shengziping Primary School, and held discussions with the school on the next phase of their support plan. Gao Huoxing stated that they would provide further assistance in areas such as the educational environment, facilities and equipment, and technological innovation.
