At the China (Wuhan) Corporate Branding Summit held on January 13, the Gao Family Industry Committee of the Wuhan Famous Brands Strategy Promotion Association was officially inaugurated, and the Wuhan Entrepreneurs’ Charitable Education Assistance Alliance was formally launched. More than 400 Gao-family entrepreneurs in attendance unanimously expressed their commitment to telling compelling stories about entrepreneurs and to boosting the spirit and vitality of the Gao clan.

Chen Songgao, President of the Wuhan Famous Brands Strategy Promotion Association, presented a plaque to the Gao Family Industry Committee. Upon receiving the plaque, Acting President Gao Huoxing remarked with deep emotion that the Gao family’s very blood carries a spirit of unyielding perseverance passed down through generations. Behind every entrepreneur’s glamorous success lies a profound and arduous journey of struggle. Most of the Gao-affiliated enterprises represented here originated in rural areas, starting from scratch—some served in the military, others pursued education, and still others faced layoffs. Their businesses were built through sheer grit and hard work, driven by our boldness and wisdom. We must leverage the association, organize relevant events and publications, highlight and publicize the hardships entrepreneurs have endured in their entrepreneurial journeys, support the development of the Gao family’s cultural industries, and thereby invigorate the spirit and morale of the Gao community.
At the China (Wuhan) Corporate Brand Summit Forum, Professor Cai Xiaoqing of Wenjin Business School delivered a keynote address on “The National Situation and Enterprise Development,” while renowned Hubei traditional Chinese medicine expert Gao Guangyan gave a lecture on health preservation. In addition, President Wang of GF Bank provided an overview of loan policies for private enterprises. Their clear, accessible, and humorous presentations greatly benefited the audience, earning continuous rounds of applause.

The final charity event sparked wave after wave of excitement among the audience, as more than 20 entrepreneurs took to the stage to pledge their support, fully filling the planned quota of 200 donations. Notably, Gao Houxing committed to sponsoring 40 underprivileged students, while Gao Weiquan, Chairman of Longquan Group, pledged RMB 200,000 in funding. In addition, business associations such as the Wuhan Shiyan Chamber of Commerce, the Wuhan Yichang Chamber of Commerce, and the Wuhan Brand Strategy Promotion Association all expressed strong support for the education-assistance initiative. To date, nearly 100 entrepreneurs have joined the charitable education alliance.
Gao Marswell, founder of the Wuhan Entrepreneurs’ Charity Scholarship Alliance and general manager of Hubei Marswell Food Company, introduced that in 2018, Marswell held a charity sale of a Beckham-signed football. He and other caring individuals made two trips to Zhuxi County in Shiyan City, donating the entire proceeds of 272,000 yuan to local impoverished students. In 2019, the alliance plans to provide financial aid to 200 impoverished students, with 1,500 yuan per student. During the summer vacation, the alliance will also organize 30 students to participate in the “Three-Entry” summer camp program aimed at fostering their aspirations by visiting universities, military camps, and enterprises. He solemnly pledged: “All donations from caring individuals will be used entirely for educational assistance, with not a single penny retained. Operating expenses will be borne or sponsored by caring enterprises, and all income and expenditures will be made fully transparent.”
Gao Marswell said, “All of us Gao family members are working hard and chasing our dreams! Marswell is willing to be the spark of this love, joining hands with numerous caring entrepreneurs to launch a grand chorus of compassion and ignite a prairie fire of educational assistance.”
