2018 Fire Safety Training and Drills

To enhance the unit’s fire safety awareness, improve employees’ ability to respond to and handle fire emergencies, and ensure the safety of employees’ lives and property, JiLi Food Co., Ltd. conducted basic fire safety training and practical drills on fire-fighting equipment at 5:00 p.m. on July 17, 2018, under the leadership of the general manager. With the guidance of the fire safety trainer, all employees present gained a deep understanding of the disasters caused by fires, realized the necessity of learning fire safety knowledge, and recognized the importance of keeping up with the times in using fire-fighting tools.
At the outset of the training, the instructor asked whether we had ever attended fire safety training and whether we possessed any basic fire safety knowledge. All employees replied that they had. The instructor then posed a question: When confronted with thick smoke, is it safe to cover one’s mouth and nose with a wet towel? Most people answered that it was. However, the instructor’s subsequent explanation sounded a loud alarm for everyone: even when using a wet towel to cover the mouth and nose, thick smoke can still be fatal. The previously relaxed atmosphere instantly gave way to a serious and focused mood, as we realized just how limited our own fire safety knowledge is and how widespread complacency and wishful thinking remain when it comes to dealing with fires.
Employees gathered in the conference room, fully focused on learning fire safety basics and how to use firefighting tools such as fire extinguishers, gas masks, and fire blankets. No need for further words—just look at the photos: the attentive backs of everyone listening intently and the packed conference room.
Following the fire safety training, a dedicated fire drill was conducted to enhance participants’ hands-on skills and familiarize them with the proper use of firefighting equipment.

This fire emergency response plan exercise was a great success, with all participants demonstrating a solid grasp of basic fire safety knowledge and the proper use of firefighting equipment. The company’s organization of this fire safety training and drill underscores the high priority that management at all levels places on fire safety, while also further enhancing employees’ awareness of fire hazards and serving as a constant reminder to remain vigilant.
