Acts of Kindness Through Passing the Ball—The Donation Distribution Is Ongoing
25 Jun,2018
On June 10, 2018, the “David Beckham” signed football charity auction hosted by Marswell kicked off a great start for the upcoming World Cup.
Just 10 days after the auction concluded, Marswell’s General Manager, Mr. Gao, drove for seven hours straight with RMB 250,000 in charitable donations collected with great care, along with computers and schoolbags, to the primary school in Eping Town, Zhuxi County, Shiyan City, Hubei Province, where he handed over all the proceeds from the auction in cash to the beneficiaries.
“We cannot afford to wait when it comes to showing compassion,” and this approach of delivering aid in person and in cash is designed to ensure transparency and authenticity, so that every act of kindness reaches the intended recipient.
Marswell deeply understands that charity should never be mere formalism or falsification. On the path of spreading love, Marswell adheres to the principles of devotion, diligence, and strictness, passing this “charitable goal” from the auction house to the goalmouth, where it is accurately and brilliantly scored—meaning the donation is successfully made.
The little boy in front of the camera was seeing popcorn for the first time. As soon as he picked up a piece, he rushed to the lens and said, “Could you take a photo of me?” The children’s innocent charm deeply touched everyone present.
Some children even prepared their own hand-drawn gifts in advance, to give to “Uncle Gao” who had helped them.
At the donation ceremony, the general manager of Marswell said, “Children are the future of the country and the nation, and children in mountainous areas need even more support and care from society.” Marswell will treat this charitable education initiative as a long-term endeavor to carry forward traditional virtues. During the Russia World Cup, for every bag of popcorn sold, Marswell will donate 10 cents to support children in mountainous areas, helping them realize their dream of visiting Beijing.
This great goal is just a glimpse of Marswell’s long-standing charitable cause. Marswell will continue to carry forward the spirit of charity, and together with many friends and partners on the charitable football field, they will stage a wonderful charity match.
