Hubei Gao Clan Chamber of Commerce Hosts Entrepreneur Forum

23 Apr,2018

On the afternoon of April 29, 2017, the “Convergence of the Real Economy and the Digital Economy” Entrepreneur Forum was grandly held, co-hosted by the Hubei Gao Clan Business Association, the Wuhan-Yichang Chamber of Commerce, and the Wuhan Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises Alliance, with support from the Wanda Central Cultural District.

The advent of the internet has dealt a blow to many brick-and-mortar businesses, prompting the pressing question: how should we respond? “How can we truly identify the root causes of these challenges, devise effective solutions, and then seize shared business opportunities, join forces for mutual support, and achieve win-win collaboration?” This is precisely the purpose of our gathering today—to come together under the theme of “integration,” engage in open dialogue and mutual learning, and spark a dynamic exchange between the real economy and the digital economy. By bringing together entrepreneurs with extensive hands-on experience, we aim to facilitate the sharing of business insights and foster mutually beneficial outcomes.

Entrepreneurs participating in this forum included Gao Huoxing, President of the popcorn brand “Marswell”; Cheng Jun, Vice Chairman of Zhongbai Warehouse; Gao Wei, Chairman of Keduo Chain Supermarket; and Wang Guohua, Director of the Public Opinion Information Research Center at Huazhong University of Science and Technology. They shared their practical experience with the attending entrepreneurs on the development of the real economy and the internet economy in their respective fields.

Over the years, he has sponsored more than 30 underprivileged students to complete their education, funded the construction of cement roads around his hometown, and donated over RMB 3 million for charitable causes. Mr. Gao Huoxing, president of the popcorn brand “Marswell,” shared the theme “Focus Leads to Expertise.”

To achieve sustained success, one must rely on “systems to govern people, processes to manage tasks, teams to conquer markets, and sound management to secure lasting success.”
