Marswell | We’ve Got Everything Ready for You This Qixi Festival
25 Aug,2020
Valentine's Eve
The seventh day of the seventh lunar month is the Qixi Festival, also known as the Festival of Begging for Skill or the Seven-Skill Festival. Originating in the Han Dynasty, the festival later became associated with the legend of the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl, thereby evolving into a symbol of love.
The Qixi Festival is just around the corner—are you all secretly planning little surprises for your loved ones?
We’ve prepared the perfect dating formula for everyone:
Gift + Movie + Popcorn = Perfect Qixi Festival
Three different love stories are scheduled for the Qixi Festival. On August 25, you can take our Marswell to the cinema for a romantic time!
Buckwheat grows rampant.
In the 1990s, two young women, Yun Qiao and Li Mai, along with a young man, Wu Feng, embark on a journey to forge a new life—only to find themselves confronted by extraordinary trials that test the very fabric of their destinies. Amid the vibrant energy of the booming 1990s, their dreams rise and fall in tandem, yet time and again they manage to claw their way back from the brink.
I’ll wait for you at the end of time.
Adapted from the novel of the same name, the devoted yet stubborn man Lin Ge unexpectedly gains the power to travel through time. Determined to keep his promise, he journeys back to the past to right the wrongs he once made and salvage his love—only to find himself repeatedly thwarted by fate, forever unable to achieve true fulfillment. Just as Lin Ge is on the verge of giving up, exhausted both physically and emotionally, Qiu Qian uncovers the secret behind time travel, and in the end, the lovers are finally reunited.
Little Women
The film is adapted from the world-famous novel “Little Women.” Jo is set to discuss her first draft with the publisher’s editor-in-chief, her lips ever poised with the words, “I will take control of my own life.” Yet she often finds herself reminiscing about that lively yet heartwarming family home: Meg, dignified and beautiful, yearning for love; Beth, reserved, meticulous, and kind-hearted; Amy, vivacious and artistic; and Jo herself—seemingly rebellious but fiercely independent. These four very different sisters endure the upheavals of war, family turmoil, and romantic trials during the Civil War, yet through mutual understanding and support, they dare to envision and forge their own paths in life.
Isn’t the sense of ceremony when watching a movie to have a can of delicious popcorn? Bring a can of Marswell popcorn, and let’s be overjoyed.
Marswell wishes everyone
On the Qixi Festival
You can always encounter the most beautiful happiness.
