Marswell Popcorn Raises Funds for Xi’an’s Anti-epidemic Efforts
17 Jan,2022
On January 12, 2022, anti-epidemic donation supplies sent by Hubei JiLi Food Co., Ltd. departed from Wuhan for Xi’an. All the supplies were neatly labeled with the words “United as One, Overcoming Difficulties Together,” which represent the blessings and support from Marswell popcorn. We sincerely thank the medical workers fighting the epidemic for their dedication and offer our encouragement to the people of Xi’an!
Hubei JiLi Food Co., Ltd. hails from the “City of Heroes”—Wuhan. Its flagship brand, Marswell, is a well-known leading popcorn brand. The company is a comprehensive food manufacturer integrating R&D, production, and sales, located in the Food Industry Development Zone of Dongxihu District, Wuhan. In 2003, JiLi built a modern, eco-friendly factory spanning approximately 17,000 square meters in accordance with GMP standards. Its star products, such as microwave popcorn and “Bao Bao” bottle popcorn, are cherished childhood memories for a whole generation. Adhering to the food philosophy of “health and deliciousness,” Marswell popcorn continuously innovates its flavors, optimizes raw materials, and enhances production processes. Among this batch of anti-epidemic donation supplies are 50 units of their signature product—nutty popcorn. Employees of Marswell expressed, “We hope that medical workers can eat on time no matter how busy they are. Only by taking good care of themselves can they better protect the general public. We also hope that Xi’an will successfully ‘get through’ this challenge!”
Meanwhile, Mr. Gao Marswell, founder of the Marswell brand and the initiator of this donation drive, personally loaded carefully prepared supplies into the vehicles. Having experienced the difficult times in Wuhan alongside JiLi Food employees, he deeply empathizes with the challenges currently faced by the people of Xi’an. “During the lockdown in Wuhan, the city demonstrated an extraordinary sense of cohesion and unity. When such unwavering determination comes together, we are filled with confidence in our ultimate victory!” Mr. Gao Marswell stated that the donation is only a small part of what can be done; Marswell will continue to closely monitor the epidemic situation. Back when Wuhan was locked down, its residents received attention and assistance from all over the country. That gratitude has now become the driving force for him to help others, spreading this confidence further. He added, “Marswell cheers for Xi’an and for our motherland!”
As supplies are neatly stacked in the carriage, Marswell is also contributing its part to the fight against the epidemic through practical actions. Even a small bag of popcorn can gather into a warm current of love. Let’s look forward to the day when so many forces come together, and we will surely make it through safely! Go Xi’an!
